The only reason I use either SPF or DKIM is so that outbound mail gets accepted by the 'big' boys: yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc.  I think DKIM has a lot of merit to stop spoofing, but is too under utilized to be effective.

A few months ago, inbound spam went ballistic. I finally went to RBL filter, which stopped 98% of it.

Since so many people don't configure SPF properly anyways, it's kinda of pointless. Kinda like DKIM. I've never bothered with either on any server I've run
