Selling extended warranties? I knew a kid who did that right after High School. Made a killing. Then spent it all on nose candy and roids. He was a "Jersey Shore" meathead before it was popular. And he was down in Miami. But it sounds like Amazon EC2 is the way to go. The scalability aspect is what's really appealing here...
