There are certain, usually graphical reasons to maintain a dual-boot. 
If you play any games that rely on certain DirectX APIs that haven't 
been implemented, or implemented well with Wine, etc.  I also recall the 
last time I tried Netflix through a virtualization route it was of the 
suckitude variety.  Others may have had more success than myself in this 
arena, however, as that was about 18 months ago.
