I'm in Honolulu right now, and so I tried the date trick, and
here's what it said:

$ date -d "Sun Apr 17 13:00:00 EDT 2010"
Sat Apr 17 07:00:00 HST 2010

Sure, the outage will be at 7am (Hawaii time) on the 17th.
That much makes sense... we're 6 hours behind EST.  But
I wonder why it's calling April 17th "Saturday"!!  This really
puts a new twist on the concept of "island time"!
