I'm a high performance hardware tester at IBM.  I use it for all my tests.
 You may have a faulty card that's causing a reboot. It could be failing
when it's initialized.  This could be a wide range of reasons from bad PCI
slot, bad IRQ handling in the BIOS, bad memory mapping, a bad driver,
incorrect firmware.  Kdump doesn't tell you all of this but it can provide
**some** insight as to what happened.  After that I can file a bug correctly
instead of looking like an idiot.

But I don't run it at home, or on any of my hobby projects.
