It is called MPD ("Music Player Daemon"). Has icecast (if you want to
transcode) and "plain http" outputs, as well as being able to control
physical speakers hooked up to the server. There's an iPhone app called
MPoD that will both control the playlist and stream the music. I don't
know about anything for Android, but I imagine there's something out there.
