There's always Open Grid Engine ;)  It's mostly used to schedule one
job after another to modulate efficiency, but jobs can be scheduled
for certain allotted time periods, machines and queues.  A lot of
learning curve to implement all the features well though.

It's not really built to have a profile for each machine, though it is
certainly possible but maybe not pretty.

Symantec Netbackup also offers scripting.  Instead of running a
backup, it would run a script and that could be pretty with reporting,
but costs money.  Not any extra if you already have it though.

Maybe Amanda has a similar option.  It could be pretty, free, and do
the job well if it's like NetBackup... and doesn't have to actually
back up anything.
