You were set to "plain" instead of "MIME" digest, and I've changed that. Let's see if my name comes through okay for you this time.
This is an example of email hating the living. The default (in mailman) is (was?) the "more compatible" plain digest, even though nobody uses* an MUA that doesn't handle MIME just fine. Have more utf8 just for testing of digests (shamelessly stolen from http://www.columbia.edu/~fdc/utf8/):

I Can Eat Glass
And from the sublime to the ridiculous, here is a certain phrase in an assortment of languages:

Sanskrit: काचं शक्नोम्यत्तुम् । नोपहिनस्ति माम् ॥
Sanskrit (standard transcription): kācaṃ śaknomyattum; nopahinasti mām.
Classical Greek: ὕαλον ϕαγεῖν δύναμαι· τοῦτο οὔ με βλάπτει.
Greek (monotonic): Μπορώ να φάω σπασμένα γυαλιά χωρίς να πάθω τίποτα.
Greek (polytonic): Μπορῶ νὰ φάω σπασμένα γυαλιὰ χωρὶς νὰ πάθω τίποτα.
...
English (IPA): [aɪ kæn iːt glɑːs ænd ɪt dɐz nɒt hɜːt miː] (Received Pronunciation)
English (Braille): ⠊⠀⠉⠁⠝⠀⠑⠁⠞⠀⠛⠇⠁⠎⠎⠀⠁⠝⠙⠀⠊⠞⠀⠙⠕⠑⠎⠝⠞⠀⠓⠥⠗⠞⠀⠍⠑
...
Bangla / Bengali: আমি কাঁচ খেতে পারি, তাতে আমার কোনো ক্ষতি হয় না।

Cheers,

* Unicorns don't count. People who dug up an MUA that doesn't do MIME in order to reply to this don't count. And if you're actually using an MUA that doesn't do MIME for your daily email needs, why are you here and not in 1996 where you belong?
