Got me beat by a year.  I first started using Linux near the beginning of 
1994 (documented online at http://www.syrlug.org/about/linux.html).  My only 
real Linux claim to fame is helping to start the Syracuse Linux User Group 
in 1999, and running it from then until 2005.
