I wanted to try it to see if any good games will run, and for MS Office to ensure total compatibility with documents from work. I can't take the chance of even a single problem with a document that I work on having issues.

I got it.  However I have very little incentive to dink with it right now.
Got other fish to fry.  The whole reason I went to Linux ~6 months ago was
to ditch Windows.  I suppose I could try to throw some kind of Windows game
demo at it to see what happens though.  Something I could compare to native
Windows Vista performance on the same 5 year old laptop.
