I don't know how many of you are familiar with LOPSA, but I promised
@standaloneSA I'd post it here so I'm fulfilling my end of the bargain.

LOPSA (The League Of Professional System Administrators) is a
community dedicated to providing outreach and support for the System
Administration profession. Some of their major efforts include
workshops and training sessions built around system administration,
which seems right up the alley of our membership.

I met Matt Simmons (@standaloneSA) at LISA '12 last week, and he told
me he would love to see a LOPSA community in the RTP area. One option,
rather than starting a new LOPSA chapter would be to make TriLUG into
a local affiliate organization of LOPSA - an affiliate organization
being an organization that does lots of things similar to LOPSA
without actually being a LOPSA chapter, and gets some support from the
league to do so.

This is not a suggestion or even a nomination to do so. I'm simply
bringing it to the attention of the membership. I have nothing to gain
or lose from this in any way. :)
