[TriLUG] Dear lazyweb^WTriLUG, Laptop suggestions?

Though I don't think it meets the OPs requirements, I run Ubuntu on a
little Acer netbook and get about 6-8 hours of life out of the battery.

I realize that the Macbooks are either a love em or hate em .. I just
can't get used to the interface on them.  Others, like my mother, love
them.
