[TriLUG] For-profit alternative to Raspberry Pi

I am personally excited about the Cubieboard (http://cubieboard.org/). The
biggest thing here is that it comes with a SATA connector. I am currently
using my RPi as a NAS (and a DNS server, and an IPv6 tunnel
endpoint/router). However, doing that over USB + NFS gives me only about
2-3 MBps read/write speeds which is pretty terrible. I think the bottleneck
might be in the CPU, but also in the USB to SATA interface. Perhaps having
a native SATA port would solve this problem.
