Now we can agree somewhat. I am not oblivous to the market, I am looking at it as a different category. I basically see a platform that computers run on and how they are compatible and I seperate the Killer Apps as running on top of those platforms. This is where the incompotibility can occur. There are tons of Killer Apps that cost alot of $$$ for Linux too, they just concentrate on serverside solutions. So many of them support only RedHat. That does not make RedHat incompatible with Ubuntu as an OS. 
 
Where we can really agree is that I definately am unconcerned about the End User market dynamics and I am sure you are much more in tune with that then me. I do find it interesting to watch and I appreciate this debate as a learning experience for those areas in which you understand better than me.
