JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for day-to-day system administration of the enterprise IT to include servers, network, storage, and user support. Participates in the 7/24 on call rotation in support of airline communication services and other product delivery. Works directly with counterparts at partner IT organizations to establish network connectivity.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Monitors and manages enterprise IT and related systems.
* Performs break/fix operations on system components and change management using ITIL best practices

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
* Extensive Linux and Windows systems administration experience
* Experience administrating KVM virtualized environments
* Experience implementing and managing enterprise storage systems (NetApp NAS and fiberchannel SAN)
* Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP administration a must
* Ability to configure and administer Nagios, CheckMK, Xymon, and other network management and monitoring systems
* Knowledge of installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft SQL Server database systems
* Ability to automate routine administration tasks though use of cron and shell scripting, desktop support etc.
* Experience with Jenkins, Cobbler and other continuous integration tools
* Strong understating of Puppet configuration management system.
* Experience administering IBM Websphere MQ series
* Experience programming in Ruby on Rails and administration of Rails-based applications a plus

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS-BS CS or equivalent, min. 10 yrs Linux/Unix SysAdmin
