[TriLUG] An update on my crazy laptop shopping

So... I ended up getting an HP Chromebook 14 with 4g of ram and the
t-mobile 200mb a month for life setup.  It was 349 at wal mart, yeah i know
but only local vendor so why not...

Already have crouton with debian wheezy installed.  Very impressed.  Most
everything works so far.  Only weird snag is that in crouton on debian
(xfce) tap to click does not work.  Minor snag and I will sort it out soon
enough.

Anyway great battery life, good typing comfort, excellent performance and
connectivity, I must say I am pleased thus far.  I got 2 weeks in the
return policy to put it through its paces so that is what I am doing.  Heck
it might cause me to sell my ipad...
