[TriLUG] Recommend File for NAS Throughput Testing

Hello Listers,

Looking for a recommendation of a baseline file for throughput testing.  
In the past, used a ~1GB oracle database delivery zip. Transfer to NAS 
completes quickly, about a minute with some variability probably due to 
caching.  I'd like the test duration to be about 5 minutes, perhaps 
burning a DVD to SSD.

The question then is, "are all DVD's created equal?"  i.e. compression, 
sparseness ...

If not what would you recommend to use as a baseline 5GB transfer file?
