2.4GHz WiFi is covered under FCC Part 15.247. You may use up to 1 W
legally on 2.4GHz, though with higher gain antennas you must reduce power.

With a 9dBi antenna can legally use up to 800mW on the 2.4GHz channels.

For 5GHz it's a bit more complicated under FCC 15.407 , but only a few
channels are 50mW, most are 250mW and the high channels are 1W. There
has been a recent rule change, and as devices are certified to the new
rules, the few 50mW channels will be available for 1W.
