      I think what Steve is suggesting is to create two iso files of
the bad drive (or create one and then copy it) and put them in
different locations; only time you touch the original drive is to
create the iso. iso1 is a backup and iso2 is the one you are doing
your recovering on. If you screw iso2 up, just copy iso1 over it.
