The Steering Committee Elections will be held at the TriLUG May meeting.

Nominations are now open - you may nominate yourself or another
member of TriLUG by posting to the TriLUG general mailing list. The
Steering Committee is made up of five volunteers just like yourself,
and this time next month, one of them could be YOU. The nominees
will introduce themselves and their platform at the May meeting, and
we'll vote before the main talk begins.

To vote or serve on the committee, you will need to be a TriLUG
"member". If you filled out a membership form at the April meeting or
before, you're covered. Bring your membership card if you have it, but
don't worry if you don't - we can look you up in the database. Voting
will be performed by paper ballot during the May meeting, and you must
be present to vote.

Serving on the Steering Committee is a great way for TriLUG members
to get more involved in the local tech community. If this interests you,
but you want more information about the responsibilities before you
make a commitment, please feel free to reach out to the current Steering
Committee and we'll be more than happy to discuss them with you
in more detail.

See you then!
