M.R.,

Some thoughts: simplify your partitioning scheme. It's hard to understand why
you have so many partitions. Consolidate.

sda should comfortably hold the two OSes with room to spare. Of course you
would need to backup data to make sure you don't loose it during
re-partitioning, etc. I suggest you start with Windows and maybe plan on a
re-install / update of Linux. Move data on sda to a backup location. Use EaseUS
http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm
to delete partitions on sda and expand the "c:" drive as desired. Mine is a
generous 50 GB to allow for the OS as well as data used in Win.

I have had good luck with EaseUS expanding and contracting Win partitions. If
there is a recovery partition, you might move it to the "end" of sda. IF there
is insufficient space to hold Win and Linux on sda, you could put some of data
for Win on an sdb partition.

After putting Win in order, tackle Linux. I put Linux on it's own partition on
sda. /boot, / (root), occupy 210 MB and 6.8 GB, respectively. I leave extra
space on /boot for the clutter of old kernel stuff that accumulates, cruft to
be cleaned up later. Don't skimp on / as that's where Linux executables live,
e.g., including The GIMP, Open Office, etc.

/home is on sdb in my case. /swap is also there, thinking it's better to be on
a separate drive from the OS for the sake of speed; probably not a real
consideration 'cause Linux does such a good job at memory management that
/swap is rarely used unless you suffer for ram.

Good luck.
