Two linux-centric jobs are open at UNC:

Full-time, permanent job opportunity.

Position Title          Systems Programmer/Analyst - Journey
Working Title           Linux Support and Administration
Work Schedule           Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Budgeted Hiring Range   $47,350 - $73,771

This is a shared position between Computer Science and OASIS. This position 
will involve a fair amount of support for desktops and workstations running 
Linux, but you'll also have the opportunity to support research servers, 
clusters, and infrastructure servers running Ubuntu and RedHat using 
technologies such as AFS, Cfengine, Proxmox, Apache, Bind, Isc dhcpd, 
mysql, BackupPC, etc.

Full-time, temporary job opportunity.

Job Title             IT Operations Technician
Hiring Range          $16 - $30 per hour
Work Schedule         Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Proposed Start Date   05/01/2016

This position will assist with installations, maintenance, and upgrades to 
desktops, workstations, and servers primarily running Ubuntu linux. 
Otherwise, many of the same opporunities as in Job #1 above, just at a more 
junior level than what is expected of the permanent position.
