Are you looking for VoIP service, or just equipment to manage two POTS lines that already exist?

Subject: [TriLUG] telephone system advice

Some of you most likely have experience with small office telephone systems and hopefully can steer me in the right direction.

Our church has gone 15 years without a true office. We have purchased a home next to our church which will become our office complex. I need to install some sort of telephone system with 2 trunk lines and at least 5 telephone locations.

Every time I google for information, all I seem to get is sales locations that want a ton of information and most appear to be sites that provide this information to others that would be calling me.

I prefer to read about systems, then call a possible provider with questions.

Are there any good locations for just reviewing specs of equipment, technical reviews of such equipment?

Hopefully, there has to be at least one trilugger is involved in telephone service who can steer me in the right direction on this.
