1) Remote Environmental Monitoring Using HopeRF RFM69HW and Arduino, by 
Alex Davis

Alex describes his project using HopeRF RFM69HW radio transceiver 
modules, along with Arduino and Python, to create a remote environmental 
monitoring system. He will cover the hardware, code & libraries, antenna 
design, troubleshooting, and using xively.com as a free "cloud" data 
repository.

Alex is a systems engineer at HP Enterprise, focusing on 
datacenter automation and IT lifecycle management.

2) Hardware/Software Quick Look at the Tekpower TP9605BT Handheld DMM 
with USB/Bluetooth Logging, by Pete Soper

The Tekpower TP9605BT is an interesting $50 DMM. Find out the good, the 
bad, and the ugly (and more good) about this meter and using it to make 
a smart workbench.

Pete is a TriEmbed co-organizer focused on facilitating embedded system 
prototyping for fun and profit.
