[TriLUG] Brainfart... trying to remember what/where pretty bash output is called or can be found

Luggers,
It's such a huge brainfart I don't even know how to properly articulate
it...

I could have sworn there was a lib or something that I could source that
would provide output during script execution like init scripts such that
you would get:

I'm doing something.....       [done]
I'm doing something else.....[done]
And another thing....

It would change the status color based on success or failure.

Anyone have any clue what I'm talking about (cause clearly I don't).
