[TriLUG] Steering Committee Nominations

You're right, Kevin. We've all kind of slacked on self-nominating.

So I can't say I'm kicking things off so much, with two nominations now out
there, but to continue the process, I'll toss my hat in the ring again.

I would like to volunteer to run for re-election to the Steering Committee
for another term.

I have been on the committee for three years now, with one term as Vice Chair
and two as Chair. I've facilitated speakers (even spoke a time or two, back
in the beginning), initially set up the Hack Nights, organized the holiday
parties for the past three years, wrote our new registration system, helped
arrange new meeting locations, and (with help from Joseph Tate) got the
inimitable Eric Leary of Datakraft to start recording our meetings for us,
in stunningly high quality. Of course, I also run the weekly cat herding
exercise known as the IRC meeting and try to keep things generally moving
forward. I really love this group; it's truly inspiring to be a part of a
community of such incredibly talented folks, and I hope to help keep it going
for some time to come... whether I make it back onto the committee or not. :)

Thank you all for being a part of TriLUG!

Brian Gerard
Chair, TriLUG
