password. I aborted the GUI install and ran thru the Text install and had

installing RH8 on a Dell notebook and when I get to the point of entering the
Root password (and ther accounts) I can't click or type a Root

to this point. I can even add users by clicking "Add". Once I add an
account I can edit or delete that account but still can't type in a
password. Without this I can't go forward as the "Next" button is grayed
