network engineer. Hourly rate on this will be up to $38/ hr for the
first 6 months and the salary once converted will be between the

along. Also, you will have to be eligible to obtain a security
clearance which will be provided for you.
Will support existing Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 infrastructure
switches, including Cisco's 6500, 5000, 2950, 2900, 3500, and 3550
series LAN switches. Support existing Cisco Wireless Access Points.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues. This will entail working
with circuit provider and local site. Will engineer, implement,
troubleshoot Cisco based VPN components and firewalls. THIS IS A
HANDS-ON ENGINEERING position. Core day shift hours; some on-call
support required.
TASK DESCRIPTION (S):
o Responsible for the technical engineering and operational
support to manage the day to day operations several locations.
o Responsible for placing orders, managing and trouble
shooting the AT&T Voice Network for all locations nationwide.
o Responsible for the AT&T Route IT program and rerouting toll
free traffic between call centers.
o Vendor Management, ensuring requirements were understood and
met on time. Place all orders for equipment and software as
well as circuit orders to meet call volumes.
o Engineer and project manage all call center installation and
upgrades.
o Understand and troubleshoot layer 2 issues, including 802.1q,
VTP, STP, trunking
o Ability to troubleshoot complex L2 & L3 issues
o Cisco CSM load balancer, including Cisco Hosting Solution
Engine (HSE) for management of CSM
o Netscaler load balancer, including global load balancing
(GSLB), L4-L7 load balancing
o Familiar with Remedy or other trouble ticketing system
o Knowledge of Wireless LAN Solution Engine (WLSE) to support
wireless implementation.
Job Qualifications Required Skills:
* A minimum of 7 years extensive work experience related to
the task description above.
* Bachelors degree preferred
* Should hold or be working toward a CCNA or CCNP
* Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision.
* Demonstrated experience in management presentations to
impart appropriate information.
* Demonstrated experience evaluating and making recommendations
for infrastructure.
* Document work and track work.
