SUNDAY - "Hair of the Dog"
Sunday I was back on my Basso Gap road bike again. This forty-six miler was easier than I expected it to be after yesterday's effort. Trading off between a recumbent and a road bike has its virtues.
There's just a few pictures here, the scenery was much like Friday's.

Each day of CAM 2005, there was an opportunity to test ride the latest road bikes from Trek. This was a neat way to try out some new wheels. Gee, maybe I should have tried it...

Ah, those morning mists. So photogenic!

Turns out that the guys in the US Postal kit weren't the only posers today. These goats were patiently waiting all day for someone with a camera.

They didn't mind close-ups, either.

Sunday's finish was the end of the CAM 2005 weekend. There was celebratory cake, watermelon, and other refreshments.

Well, us bipeds can pose too.
Thanks for looking over my CAM Weekend 2005 pictures! It was a memorable time. As far as Emmitsburg is from our digs in the NC Piedmont, it's going to be hard to resist further visits!

The Sunday route profile shows that they were taking it a little easier on us today, even on the long ride. Climbing was less than 2800 feet, and most of it brief. I averaged 15.3 MPH, and took a bit over three hours to finish.
Thanks for the fun rides, guys!
