Just starting out near Mt. Saint Mary's in Emmitsburg

Beautiful light this morning

Looks like a fun day to ride.

I wonder how far away that hill is?

We don't have many unobstructed views in the piedmont.

I'm heading for those mountains in the distance.

I wonder if all of the other riders are out of sight in front, or behind?

The mountains are getting closer.

Someone's catching up.

Part of the seven mile long downhill stretch to the Pine Grove Furnace State Park. Whee!

I passed several picturesque cabins, but they were hiding from the camera like this one.

The Ironmongers Hostel & Rest Stop. A beautiful sight!

The guy on this Barcroft 'bent knew how to ride it, I only saw it briefly when I arrived at two rest stops.

All of the rest stops at CAM had fresh pineapple, sliced right from the cob. Heaven!

Beautiful scenes stacked up all day long.

He agreed that it was a great photo spot too.

This hill was not what I wanted. I had just finished fourteen like it. Or more.

The fairly famous Distelfink rest stop. It was getting hot, and I really should have gone in for some ice cream.

This was the final rest stop at Gettysburg. Some point around here I got tired of taking snaps.

That smudge is a biplane flying around over the Gettysburg battlefields.
