Directions to Durham Tech From RTP / Wake County / Chapel Hill / Points South From Durham / Points North Area and Vicinity Maps From RTP / Wake County / Chapel Hill / Points South Take I-40 in the appropriate direction to NC 147 North - Durham Freeway (exit 279). Take Exit 10, Briggs Avenue, and turn left at top of ramp. Turn right at the first intersection onto Lawson St. Pass Durham Tech buildings. Turn left at the first traffic light onto Bacon Street. Turn left at the next street, Cooper St. Turn right into the third driveway, at the Durham Tech sign. You'll be at the Newton Building. Go around behind the Newton Building, and park in the large parking lot at rear. (Do not use the side parking lot; the entrace there is locked.) Enter near the student-constructed wooden buildings. Look for signs and other TriLuggers! From Durham / Points North or West Take 15-501 Bypass North, or I-85 East, to NC 147 South - Durham Frwy. Take Exit 10B, Briggs Avenue South. At top of ramp, stay in right lane. Turn right onto Lawson St. Follow directions above to reach the Newton Building.
