[TriLUG] mandrake 8.2 kernel compiles.

looks like `make distclean oldconfig` cleaned up things
a little bit.  I don't know what the .config problems were ( I blew
away the old file).

I'm still interested to know if anybody else had this problem:
compiling the mdk 8.2 kernel in it's 'default' configuration.
