Doh!  I missed that (probably because it was going to my trilug
e-mail).  Yep, apparently, it does automatically send out "outbid"
emails.

It doesn't, however, do ebay's trick of letting you specify your
maximum bid and then only raising it high enough to win the item.
Oh well.  It's still quite good for something Jeremy just set up
yesterday afternoon. :-)
