[TriLUG] Linksys WPS11 wireless Question

It would surprise me if OS X would not talk to CUPS, and for that matter
the WPS11.

OS X (10.2.x at least) has CUPS support, which allows sharing printers
using the IPP protocol. Also, you can configure new printers using the
CUPS web interface, so it should be no problem to set up an IPP based
printer. A small bit of research shows that the WPS11 supports IPP based
printing so in theory it should work just fine with OS X. This should
also fix the problem of having to have appletalk running on the linux box.

System Preferences->Sharing->Printer Sharing is how I turned on CUPS.
The web interface is accessed by http://mac_ip:631/ (permissions on the
web interface can get funky--I reccomend coming at it from localhost,
and it would be a good idea to firewall the port)
