Ugh, I -really- don't want people to feel that way.  If you don't like
the way things are done here, send a message to the steering committee
and we'll look into it.  Had the guy mailed us directly, we would have
dealt with it in private.  No harm, no foul.

But please, don't feel like you can't ask if things could change.  We
have changed the mailman form to be even more clear that you shouldn't
use a real password.
