Lisa,

Here is the virtusertable stanza for a mailman mailing list I run on a
server with several virtualhosts on it:

ctc-l-admin at celebratethecircle.org ctc-l-admin
ctc-l-bounces at celebratethecircle.org ctc-l-bounces
ctc-l-confirm at celebratethecircle.org ctc-l-confirm
ctc-l-join at celebratethecircle.org ctc-l-join
ctc-l-leave at celebratethecircle.org ctc-l-leave
ctc-l-owner at celebratethecircle.org ctc-l-owner
ctc-l-request at celebratethecircle.org ctc-l-request
ctc-l-subscribe at celebratethecircle.org ctc-l-subscribe
ctc-l-unsubscribe at celebratethecircle.org ctc-l-unsubscribe

The aliases file (we are using sendmail) has:

ctc-l: "|/var/mailman/mail/mailman post ctc-l"
ctc-l-admin: "|/var/mailman/mail/mailman admin ctc-l"
ctc-l-bounces: "|/var/mailman/mail/mailman bounces ctc-l"
ctc-l-confirm: "|/var/mailman/mail/mailman confirm ctc-l"
ctc-l-join: "|/var/mailman/mail/mailman join ctc-l"
ctc-l-leave: "|/var/mailman/mail/mailman leave ctc-l"
ctc-l-owner: "|/var/mailman/mail/mailman owner ctc-l"
ctc-l-request: "|/var/mailman/mail/mailman request ctc-l"
ctc-l-subscribe: "|/var/mailman/mail/mailman subscribe ctc-l"
ctc-l-unsubscribe: "|/var/mailman/mail/mailman unsubscribe ctc-l"

so, virtusertable catches the ctc-l-*@celebratethecircle.org and
redirects to a local user, which is then caught by the aliases file and
sent to the correct mailman invocation.
