Or (for me at least), static DHCP is not available for any
residential-type routers, even though it's been available for years for
other comparable products (D-Link, SMC, etc.).  After submitting a
request for that, I was told to buy their high-dollar business-class NAT
router.  How absurd.

FWIW, it seems like lots of people are using this DD-WRT.  OpenWRT can
have a big learning curve (mainly in regards to device names, services,
doing all stuff w/o a serial port, etc.).
