[TriLUG] Anyone know how to assign a style to a piece of text in LibreOffice Impress?

If it exists, I haven't figured it out.  Supposedly you can add styles to
the dropdown, but it's not smart enough to retroactively apply changes to
existing items in that style in my experience.
