[TriLUG] FCC may step in to pre-empt TWC like legislation

I am not a lawyer, but I think the cure is for the FCC to declare the ISPs
"Common Carriers". Then the FCC could regulate them as they should be
regulated. The nice part of this is that they fit the Common Carrier
definition. An alternative is for congress and the president to pass a law
allowing the FCC to regulate the ISPs. No one thinks that the current
congress can pass such a bill, no matter how many ordinary citizens think
it is a good idea.

Remember H.R. 3035 in 2011? The corrupt congress critters tried to pass a
bill to allow companies to spam your cell phone. No way a bill like that
should ever have been considered in a true representative democracy.
Congress acts for the good of the people only when they know we are
watching, otherwise they act for their own self interest and that means the
interest of their big donors. Please let them know we are watching Mr.
Wheeler and we think he is full of male bovine manure.

Thanks,
Charles Fischer
