Hi Brian,

It would be a service to the community to detail which programs in 
start-up rained on your parade. The VB version number and XP build 
number would also be very useful to know.

I ran XP under VB for years and have moved on, but would like to 
understand this particular hazard in case something forces me to double 
back in the future.
