I can confirm that the Brother HL-3170CDW works with Ubuntu 64bit
14.04 over wifi after installing the Cups PPD files from the Brother
website. I replaced an old MFC inkjet with a color laser and
standalone flatbed scanner. I bought a used canon lide 100 scanner
from ebay.
