So for xmas we got the kids an xbox one and I am trying to get everything
setup for them from the get go before the day.

So you need a microsoft account for each user and it does benefit to give
each kid a microsoft account for content approval, game ratings, etc.

So right now I have a domain I use for our email addresses but the kids do
not have an account on it. I am trying to figure out a good solution. The
email addresses are presently just forwarding addresses to our actual gmail
accounts for my wife and I, and then in gmail we can send as those accounts.

However gmail does not have a managed account google does but it really
doesn't extend email features.

So my thoughts are, maybe go with tocomail instead, a web service designed
for kids email.

Or setup dovecot or some other similar service on my own server (VPS)

As far as linux email servers what is a good option. What I am looking for
if I setup my own is the following features:

must have:
1. spam filtering
2. monitoring of user accounts without password sharing
3. whitelist and blacklist address management

nice to have:
1. word filtering
2. collaborative tools like calendars and what not, think like MS exchange

If these seem like obvious questions forgive me. I really have never setup
my own email server before.

Ken
