Well... if you want zero guarantees about what data you actually have,
then Mongo (i.e. schemaless) is great.
If you actually care about data integrity and have 'rules' (I know, it's
a dirty word) about what constitutes valid data, Mongo may not be a
great tool.

Don't worry, I'll see myself out... me and my schema...
