[TriLUG] "Laptop" for three year olds

Another vote for chromebook here to start.

I have two kids whom at age 3 or 4 started using a chromebook with
ease to watch pbskids, some educational online games, and netflix
kids.

At age 5 they got used X series Thinkpads (~$250 amazon) which are
small in size but a full computer. (One is using kubuntu on an x230,
other elementary os on an x201).

Currently, ages are 5 and 7 and the bulk of their computer use is
youtube, pbskids, netflix kids, some steam games like
starbound/terraria or educational online games.
