[TriLUG] Blocking a linux laptop (Mint 17) from connecting to an open wifi ap.

I second Matt in that there is no point in trying to censor your kid's
internet access (because if that is the case, you're obviously also
looking into disallowing installing/downloading the Tor Browser Bundle,
amirite?). After all, boundaries and rules are there to be broken.

But he may just be trying to prevent his kids from printing "Hello, I am
your printer and I want to play a game..." on the neighbour's printer
from time to time.
Chris, are you trying to prevent the laptop from connecting to this
specific open network or to any non-approved open network?

All that being said, if the kid is old enough to know about connecting
to different open networks, it may be more productive to just have a
sit-down with her/him/it/... Trust goes quite a way!
