[TriLUG] From field munging

Hi all,

Aaron Schrab sure called it right in the following post:

A few minutes ago I accidentally sent a private reply to the whole
list. I'm very sorry. 

I spoze I could have been extra careful, but on almost all my other
mailing lists, clicking "reply to sender" actually replies to sender,
like it's supposed to do. TriLUG munges the sender field, so unless
extreme care is used, private replies will go to the whole list.

If From Field Munging is the only way to implement dmarc, I'd suggest
not implementing dmarc, and if people with Yahoo and AOL accounts can't
post, oh-well. I mean, what serious Internet person doesn't have an
account with someone other than Yahoo or AOL?

I'm sorry to have sent a private reply to the whole list, and will try
my best to remember that when responding to TriLUG posts, my email
system works differently.
