simple VPN

greetings,

i would like to build a vpn between two of my sites. want to be able to
telnet, map drives, print, run X, RDC, etc. with some semblence of
security. will have dsl (with fixed IP) at both sites. first site has
linksys BEFSR11 (router with 1 10/100 port, no wireless). second site
has nothing, yet.

i thought that the linksys products had a vpn capability built into
them. digging through the manuals has not, yet, shown that to be true.

has anyone had any success with some simple VPNs like this?
