RFID for datacenters

Perhaps a better application would be to inventory and track PCs and printers and other devices that are scattered throughout the company.  As an IT Systems Administrator for about 20 years I have learned that one of the most difficult things is to take and maintain inventory for things that the users seem to move around at will.

Datacenters are usually so static that the operators know where all the equipment is from memory.
