Right on Michael!

I've cut hundreds of contracts with Telecom companies, and if the
Salesman in any way mis-represented the contents of the contract then
you are on solid ground.  You can dump them at any time, and you might
want to log a compliant right now with the VP of that Sales group (and
cc the Attorney General of NC).

Some folks think the contract is the written paper you sign - but don't
be lead by the ignorant. You worked out the "actual" contract/agreement
with the representative of the company before the paperwork was ever
generated. 

On the other side of that coin, I dealt with Time Warner Telecom (not
the cable company) and the Sales folks promised one thing and the
contract read differently - when I pointed that out, they changed the
contract to match what the Sales person had promised.  This was after
the contract was signed and the install had been completed.

It helped that I always negotiate my contracts via email, but the folks
at TWTC are also honorable folks!
